This tour includes round-trip transportation from Jasper along the Yellowhead Highway to the Jasper Hinton Airport (40 minutes each way).

This tour is a must for those of you who want to experience the Canadian Rockies and the Columbia Icefields in all their majesty. The air tour will take you along the Athabasca Valley, over Jasper townsite, along the Winston Churchill Range to the Icefields. When we head north, we fly between the Queen Elizabeth and Maligne Ranges, with a breathtaking view of Maligne Lake. Descending past Rocky River and Roche Miette your journey is complete. During this one-hour tour, you will see places that would take weeks to hike to are inaccessible by road.

cat skiing

The day begins with the beautiful drive to Valemont, British Columbia where we meet up with our experienced guides in the spectacular snow covered Cariboo Mountains. The Cariboos are world-renowned for their incredible snow conditions, and we typically ski between 10,000 to 15,000 vertical feet every day.

The heated snowcat awaits to take you and your group up into the mountains, for some of the greatest deep powder skiing, snowboarding or sightseeing anywhere. Large picture windows and tinted skylights seem to draw the outdoors in to the comforts of our warm spacious cab.

Your ski day begins at 8:00 am and the last run of the day is between 3:00 - 3:30 pm (depending on light conditions). A delicious on-mountain lunch is provided, with special attention to dietary concerns when given in advance.

heli-skiing/boarding

Your day begins with a 1 1/4 hour journey to the Rocky Mountain Trench, Valemount, BC.

You will be at the meeting point of three different mountain ranges, the Monashees, the Cariboos and the Rockies. This area is renowned for its incredible scenery and abundance of light, dry powder snow.

With Approximately 1500 square kilometers of high country terrain, you can ski glaciers, open snowbowls and treed runs all in the same day. Picnic lunch is provided. Includes four flights (approx. 10,000 vertical feet). Fat skis are available for rent.

heli-snowshoeing

This adventure begins with a one-hour drive west along the Yellowhead Highway to the base of Mt. Robson (elevation 3,954m), the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

After a brief instruction period guests will board the helicopter for a scenic flight to an alpine cabin at Berg Lake. You will then strap on your snowshoes and tour with your guide through one of the most spectacular valleys in the Rockies, before heading back to the historic Hargreaves Cabin for a fire, hot chocolate and a lunch.

sightseeing tours - lake louise & banff

The tour from Jasper will take you through some of the most spectacular mountain landscapes in North America.

Following the spine of the Canadian Rockies, view a never-ending procession of mammoth mountains, jagged snow covered peaks and over 100 glaciers. The entire days is spent in the majesty of Canada's two most famous National Parks, Jasper and Banff.

Departing Jasper you will be driven southwards on the Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic stretches of highway in North America. You follow the Athabasca River to the frozen Athabasca Falls, where the waters of the river cascade to the valley floor. From here the Parkway ascends to Tangle Ridge and a stop is made at the Columbia Icefields to view the Athabasca Glacier. Next we descend the Big Hill and stop for the photos at the Weeping Wall, Peyto Lake, Bow Lake and the Crowfoot Glacier before arriving at stunning Lake Louise. Here you will take a short break at the world famous Chateau Lake Louise to admire the picture postcard scenery.

You will then depart Banff town site passing the formations of Castle Mountain and Vermillion Lake.

snowmobile tours

Your day begins with a 1.5 hour drive west to Canoe Mountain near Valemount, BC. Each participant will be outfitted with a helmet and boots and then assigned a machine suitable to the ability level. After a short instruction period, you will follow a guide along an easy mountain trail, through a natural wildlife area before arriving at our heated cabin at 7400 feet.

Here, riders will enjoy a hearty lunch while marveling at the incredible views of three different mountain ranges as well as spectacular Mt. Robson.

After lunch, riders will continue their journey up to the alpine snow bowls with plenty of flat trails for beginners and an abundance of hill climbing and powder riding for riders that are more aggressive. This is a once in a lifetime experience in some of North America's best snowmobiling terrain.

wildlife tour - maligne valley

Alpine Art caters to small groups (no more than six people).You will embark on a tour of one of the most spectacular areas of Jasper National Park.

First you will visit shimmering Patricia and Pyramid Lakes and take a stroll over a rustic footbridge to Pyramid Lake Island. From there you will be traveling through the Maligne Valley in search of osprey, eagle, big horn sheep, mountain goat, moose, elk, deer and bear. You will stop at Maligne Canyon where 10,000 years of erosion have created a 165-foot deep gorge. Here you will set off on a short walk to marvel at the Maligne River as it thunders through the canyon in a series of waterfalls. From the canyon you will continue to disappearing Medicine Lake and then to the spectacular Maligne Lake. Have your cameras ready as both areas are rich in wildlife and scenery!
