You will be flying to an Alpine Meadow on Charles Stuart Mountain just north of the Trans Canada (Highway 1) in Canmore.
Daytime temperatures range from 50'F to 85'F. However, it can snow at any time of the year so be prepared! (Dress in layers)
There are 3 levels of hiking:
1) Easy
Guests must be prepared to walk over relatively flat terrain for 1-2 km's with virtually no elevation gain
2) Moderate
Guests must be prepared to walk over slightly longer distances (2- 4km). This hike will largely remain in the bowl at Charles Stewart, however may have slightly elevation gains
3) Challenging
Guests must be able to hike over uneven terrain for approximately 5-8km that will have elevation gain associated with it. Guests should be in sound physical health; they should not suffer from any knee, hip, ankle or joint injuries.

Alpine Walk
Take the time to discover natural alpine landscapes and high mountain vistas on an Alpine Helicopters hike. Feel free to explore while your experienced guide provides knowledgeable commentary on the areas of geography and flora and fauna. This excursion offers a 9 minute scenic helicopter flight to a secluded area high above the Bow River Valley and 3 to 4 hours of hiking, with a pace and distance covered depending entirely on the ability of the group.

Royal Canadian Heli Hike
Your journey will start with a 25 minute sight seeing tour, which takes you soaring over mountain ranges and delivers you to Mount Charles Stewart, where adventure awaits. The hike, led by a qualified guide, explores scenic alpine ridges and meadows. The difficulty of the hike depends entirely on the ability of the group and will last 3 to 4 hours.
